When planning your fall wedding, select items with a fall theme, including the wedding invitations, color scheme, cake and party favors. With your wedding invitations, how about a fall leaf design on the front or an autumn leaf-shaped invitation? Any wedding invitation can be more formal or casual according to the style of the font in the lettering. From basic black to fall gold, to deep maroon even the ink can reflect the autumn season!

Select bridesmaid dresses with either the same or unique fall dress color for each girl. A pretty fall flower to match the dress color would be nice tucked behind an ear of each bridesmaid. Try to incorporate a familiar fall idea, such as a cornucopia or horn of plenty. Choose fall theme place card holders with the same placecard lettering style and ink color that you used for your invitations.

If you are on a budget for autumn wedding favors, there are many do-it-yourself and inexpensive choices that can look fabulous. You could paint a glass votive candle holder on the outside, then place a cool-hued tea light inside. The candle will look pretty shining through the design that you painted on the glass holder. Wrap it in a pretty organza or tulle material and tie with a satin ribbon. Or decorate small boxes, either differently or alike, with themed trinkets found in your local craft store. Then tie with a ribbon, having placed a truffle or small bag of Jordan almonds inside.
